Four goals in Muhoroni put Chemelil to the sword

The lads returned back to winning ways on Sunday at the Muhuroni grounds where they registered an emphatic 4-1 win over Chemeli Sugar on matchday 11 of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).

Goals from Captain Chris Oduor, James Kinyanjui, Clifford Alwanga and Daniel Otieno ensured that the team bounced back in style after the loss to Sofapaka on Wednesday. David Simiyu grabbed a late consolation for the Millers.

Kevin Kimani grabbed two assists in the game with Oduor and Otieno also turning providers.

Positive ending

The win is a positive ending to a tough week that also saw us get deducted three points, won against Sony Sugar in round 9, following the Millers’ disqualification from the league.

We now move up to 4th on the log with 17 points. This however is subject to change by the time the round concludes on Monday.

Next up is a home tie against Kakamega Homeboyz on Friday at the MISC, Kasarani.
