Mwangi, Alwanga Return For Slum Derby

John Mwangi celebrates in a past league match at Ruaraka.

Head coach Francis Kimanzi has made three changes to his first eleven for the Round 14 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match against Kariobangi Sharks to be played at the Camp Toyoyo on Sunday.

John Mwangi is back in the starting line-up and he will start on the left side of attack relegating Samuel Ndung’u to the bench. Cliff Nyakeya keeps his place on the opposite flank to provide support for target man Clifford Alwanga who also returns to lead the attack.

Ongori starts

There is a reorganization at the back which will see Samuel Olwande partner Johnstone Omurwa at the heart of defence. Martin Ongori therefore starts at right back, taking up the place of Gilbert Osonga. David Owino maintains his spot at left back.

Robert Mboya continues in goal in his first encounter against his former employers.

The duo of Edward Seda and Chrispin Oduor will pull the strings at the center of the park as Francis Omondi plays the anchor role in midfield.
