Omurwa Returns Against Sony

Johnstone Omurwa in action in a past training session at the Goan Institute Grounds.

Head coach Francis Kimanzi has made one change to his first eleven for the Round 24 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match against Sony Sugar to be played at the Camp Toyoyo grounds on Sunday.

Johnstone Omurwa returns to the first team taking up the place of skipper George Owino who misses out on the match day squad altogether. The youngster will partner James Situma at the heart of defence.

Martin Ongori and Samuel Olwande keep their places on the right and left respectively while David Okello will go in search of his first clean sheet in his fourth appearance for the club.

Goal Drought

Alphonce Ndonye gets his second consecutive start of the season and he will partner Francis Omondi in midfield with Chrispin Oduor being charged with providing the creative spark in the number 10 role.

Upfront John Mwangi and Cliff Nyakeya will play either side of club top scorer Clifford Alwanga who will look to end his four match goal drought.
