Mathare United played out to a barren draw with Bandari in the Kenyan Premier League opener at Ruaraka grounds on Saturday.

The game lived up to expectations with both sides enjoying equal chances on either end but ultimately it was a tale of missed chances.

Kevin Kimani, James Kinyanjui and John Mwangi all had chances to score but were thwarted by Bandari keeper Michael Wanyika.

The best chance of the game fell to substitute Klinsman Omulanga whose shot was heroically blocked by Brian Otieno with Wanyika well beaten.
